I've been looking for a "new" boat for a while now, as there is no longer any hope of repossessing My Dream. I've viewed several good candidates, however it wasn't until I found RUNNER in Vallo, Tonsberg, that I knew I'd found what I was looking for.

S/Y RUNNER.

Jon Åge Flom was the 3rd owner of the boat, which is a Gib Sea 116. The boat looked good, so we quickly made the arrangements for it to become my boat, which happened in March 2006.

Leif Birkland and I shortly after brought the boat to HURUMHAVNA in Tofte, which is to be RUNNER's home-harbour for a while.

Marianne and I got started with the elbowgrease, cleaned the insides of the boat after an oil and filter change pluss other assorted jobs. The boat was now declared ready to go for the summer season.The hullpolishing and bottompaint was postponed to next season, as the boat was in such a good condition anyway.
